Restylane Will Erase Unwanted Wrinkles

Have you noticed that lines and wrinkles are beginning to form in the skin of your face? These unwelcome markers of the aging process are embarrassing, but with injectables like Restylane, they can be nothing more than a memory.

Restylane is an injectable hyaluronic acid dermal filler used to improve and accentuate your facial features. Restylane treatments even out moderate and harsh age lines and can also be used to add volume to the lips, giving them greater definition and fullness.

Good Candidates

You have to be over 21 years of age to be able to use any of the Restylane products we offer. All Restylane treatments should be done by specialists only. Do not try to self inject.

Restylane products cannot be used by women who are either pregnant or are breastfeeding. Patients with bleeding disorders should not use Restylane. Anyone allergic to Lidocaine should not use this product.

How It Works

Hyaluronic acids are sugars naturally found in your skin. These acids provide your skin with fullness, hydration, and elasticity. The Restylane dermal filler works in the same way as the hyaluronic acid produced by the body, bonding with water molecules to increase volume.

It generally takes less than an hour for the treatment to be completed. In all probability, you would not need more than one or two sessions to achieve the results you are looking for.

First, the area to be treated is cleaned. A super fine needle is used to carefully and precisely inject the hyaluronic acid filler gel into the targeted areas.

The results of the treatment are visible immediately and will last for between six months and one year. Temporary swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, and slight pain at the sight of injection are common side effects of Restylane. Patients over 35 years of age are more likely to experience bruising and swelling. These symptoms are always mild and do not last for very long.

Before Your Treatment

You will have to stop taking certain medicines before you come in for Restylane treatment. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines, aspirin, and high doses of vitamin E supplements are some examples. These medicines increase your chances of bruising and bleeding at the site of injection. If you have had any previous facial cold sores, you should let your doctor know.

After Your Treatment

You should use cold compresses to reduce any swelling that you notice in the treatment area. The area should not be exposed to extreme conditions of heat and cold, as this can affect the healing tissues. If you experience any discomfort following the treatment, let us know immediately. You should take care that you do not get any cold sores during this time.
