Juvéderm®
Juvéderm® is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Juvéderm® is injected under the skin to instantly restore your skin’s volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, like your ‘‘smile lines’’ or ‘‘parentheses’’ (nasolabial folds—the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth). How does Juvederm® work?
Treatments are done in our office and take about 30 minutes and the result is immediate.
Juvederm contains hyaluronic acid in the form of a crystal-clear gel. Juvederm is injected into the skin to create volume, resulting in a healthy and vital appearance. When injected into the lip it can restore a more natural and/or sensuous look. In contrast to other implants, Juvederm is not extracted from animals. This means that you don’t have to worry about an allergic reaction. Juvederm is perfectly safe to use instantly without pre-testing.
How long does it last?
It varies from individual to individual. The length of time your treatment will last depends on many factors such as your skin, your lifestyle and your age. Most patients find the effect remains after 9 months. However, the average lip treatment only lasts for about six months due to their higher blood flow.

What are the possible side effects?
The most commonly observed side effects are swelling, redness, pain, bruising, headache, tenderness, lump formation, and itching at the injection site. These are typically mild in severity and typically resolve in less than 7 days in nasolabial folds and less than 14 days in lips.

Like Restylane, Perlane is a clear gel formulation of hyaluroinc acid that is specifically formulated to at like your body’s own hyaluronic acid, adding volume and fullness to the skin. What make Perlane different from Restylane is the average size particles and depth of the injection, which means this is a good choice for those patients who have more severe facial wrinkles that will benefit from a deeper injection into the skin. Clinical studies report that most patients maintain improvement for six months after just one treatment.
Sculptra® Aesthetic
Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen, a fibrous protein in the deep dermis that gives skin structure and supports the functions of elastin and hyaluronic acid, which helps maintain the skin's shape, while keeping it smooth and hydrated. A healthy supply of collagen makes for a more youthful-looking complexion.
